Calvin Church, 326 7 th St SE, welcomes all who are looking for a church family to worship, learn and
fellowship with us. Sunday School classes for all ages begin at 9:00 AM. Come join us in the Fellowship
Hall where prepared teachers will meet you to join in learning more about our faithful God. Worship
begins at 10:00 AM. Pastor Brian Hofman will lead us in worship. Miriam Hector will provide the
prelude. The All For Him praise team will lead the singing of: “Hosanna (Praise is Rising)”, “The Servant
Song”, “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death”, and “Will You Come and Follow Me?”, and “Jesus, All For
Jesus”. Pastor Hofman addresses “Be Ready for the Christ’s Return” based on 1 Peter 4: 7 – 11.
Following the service Pastor Brian will be having a discussion group based on our Bible passage this
week. Everyone is invited to this informal gathering. NO preparation is needed: we will talk about what
you are taking away from and wondering about that week’s sermon text.
An Evening of Praise on October 6 th will be sponsored by Bible League International (BLI) Ambassadors at
the B.J. Haan Auditorium at Dordt University in Sioux Center at 7 PM. The groups performing are Four
for Him, the Klaasens, and Ensemble Royale. A free-will offering will be taken for BLI.
Afternoon Bible Study meets again Oct. 4 th .
