Calvin Christian Reformed Church located at 326 7 th St SE. invites you to join them in worship and study
of the one true God.
Sunday School classes for all ages begin at 9:00 AM. Worship in the sanctuary at 10:00 AM which
concludes with communion.
Pastor Brian Hofman will lead us in worship. His message is based on Song of Songs 8: 5-14. Songs
selected for worship are “Like a River Glorious’, “Before the Throne of God Above”, “Thy Word”,
“Beneath the Cross of Jesus” and “What Does the Lord Require of You?” Miriam Hector will provide
service music.
The Children are welcomed up front to visit with Pastor Brian for an introduction to the morning’s text
before going to Children’s Worship.
Calvin is a busy place with the Chuukese worshipping at 2:00 PM on Sundays; LifeWise on Tuesday and
Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM; Bible Study for Women Wednesday at 1:30 PM, Men at 6:30
PM. (This week is the first meeting for Men. Come and start with a great time to study and fellowship.
As is tradition on Sundays when we celebrate communion, we also love to contribute to The Table, a
community food supply outlet. Items in low supply are canned fruit & soup, box meal mixes & canned
meals (ravioli, spaghetti, etc.) cake & cookie mixes and items like dish soap & laundry soap and
shampoo. Items may be placed in the blue barrel in the narthex all month long.
Our Special Offering is designated for Inspiration Hills.
A time of fellowship with coffee, juice, and cookies follow worship.
