Calvin Church, 326 7 th St SE, welcomes all who are looking for a church family to worship, learn and
fellowship with us. Worship begins at 10:00 AM. Pastor Brian Hofman will lead us in worship. The text
is Romans 6: 15 – 23. Miriam Hector will lead us into worship with a prelude on the piano. The All For
Him praise team leads the singing of “God of Wonders”, “I Will Rise”, “Blessed Assurance”, “By Grace
We Have Been Saved”, and ”I Serve a Risen Savior”.
This Sunday we will celebrate Communion. Just a reminder, everyone is encouraged o bring items for
the Christian Needs Center.
After the offertory, the children come forward to visit with Pastor Wick and then will be dismissed for
Children’s Worship.
Sunday School classes for all ages are available this Sunday at 9:00 am. The Adult Sunday School class is
meeting this week as they watch the DVD “Counter Culture” by David Platt.
Vacation Bible School has been set for June 19 – 22; 5:30 – 8:00 PM. This year’s theme is STELLAR:
SHINE JESUS LIGHT. We’ll begin each night with a meal. STELLAR rockets kids on an out-of-this world
adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.
Kids will prepare for the day’s adventure by singing fun songs and meeting fun Bible Memory Buddies!
STELLAR Bible Adventures experience each Bible story with all five senses.
All-star Games play high-energy games like Mission Control and Pool Noodle Feudal!
