This Week at Calvin

Calvin Christian Reformed Church welcomes all who are looking for a church family to worship, learn and fellowship with. Worship begins at 10:00 AM with Miriam Hector providing a prelude. The All For Him praise team will lead the singing of: “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling”, “First Place”, and “What Does the Lord Require of You?”. The message Pastor Brian Hofman is preaching is based on Malachi 2: 17 – 3: 15. The Song of Response will be “This is Amazing Grace”. We close our service with “Song of Hope”.
Calvin invites all to form a team for Youth for Christ Bowl-a-thon this Sunday, 2:30 – 5:00 PM at Sweet 16 Lanes, Le Mars. Talk to Elaine Van Otterloo or Pete Attema to donate to this fundraiser.
At 9:00 AM, Sunday, there are Education Classes for all ages. Teachers are preparing valuable lessons for us all. Come and learn together
This Wednesday, 6:30 PM is women’s Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall.
All offerings and tithes are now given during the worship service. If you are unable to be there, they can be sent to the church at 326 7th ST SE or dropped off at the church office Monday through Fridays, 10 – noon.
Operation Christmas Child boxes are ready for distribution. The return date for filled boxes is Sunday November 14. Every gift-filled shoebox is a tool for evangelism and discipleship for a local church around the world. We thank God that through our decades of delivering shoebox fits, we’ve shared the Gospel with millions of children in over 160 countries and territories. Anyone from the community may join in this effort of sharing Good News of Great Joy!
Services may be seen on YouTube, on our website at Calvincrclemars.org, or by listening to a CD available under the mailboxes.
