studying Tony Evans’ Kingdom Authority DVD and discussion guide. Worship begins at 10:00 AM. Inez
Hoogeveen will provide the prelude and accompany “Come Thou Fount”, “He Leadeth Me”, “Trust and
Obey”, and “Abide with Me.” Pastor Brian Hofman’s text for this Sunday is Isaiah 8: 11-18. Sermon
discussion following the service.
After the offertory, the children will be dismissed to Children’s Worship led by Kaitlyn Visscher.
The Special Offering for this month is for Josh’s Ride Custom Bikes for Special Kids: Because every child
deserves to ride a bike!
The YFC Bowl a thon is on Oct. 29 th . Sign-up sheet at church if you plan on bowling. If you wish to
donate, place it in the envelope.
Operation Christmas Child boxes are ready to be filled. There are still boxes available in the narthex.
Return date is Sunday, November 12 th . Thank you for your participation in the mission project!
Calvin welcomes Lifewise Academy to our facilities. On Wednesday the Kluckhohn 5 th graders are bused
over and on Thursday the Franklin 5 th graders walk to the church.
October is Pastor Appreciation month. Take some time to thank the Pastor for his care and leadership
at Calvin.
