This Week at Calvin

Calvin Church, 326 7th St SE, welcomes all who are looking for a church family with whom you can
worship, learn, and fellowship. Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 AM. This Sunday Pastor Brian Hofman
goes to Mark 12:18-27 for his Lenton message when the dead rise, they will be like angels. The All for
Him praise team leads the singing of: “This is Amazing Grace,” Call to Confession: “His Mercy is More”,
“Living Hope”, “Who You Say I am”, “I Will Rise,” and “He Is Lord”.
Check out the church library and children’s Busy Bags. In memory of a beautiful young girl, Hope
Widman, a generous memorial gift has been given to our church in the form of children’s books. They
are in the nursery, in the busy bags and church library. These books range from baby to middle school.
These books can be checked out, brought home to read, and returned for other kids to read.
We are planning to lead worship at PrimeLiving and Accura Health Care on March 30th. A church potluck
will be held at noon on March 27.. Mark Siemonsma, a former Calvin member, has started a fund-raising event for Ukrainian refugees that
have crossed the border into Romania. Mark has been working in Romania for 18 years and they need
our help. Gifts may be sent to Hope Haven Ukrainian Refugee Campaign, PO Box 70, Rock Valley, IA
51247 so you can get a charitable deduction for your gift.
The church is open every morning from 10 to noon to pick up books or DVDs, or CDs of the service.
Anyone needing prayer may call the church (546-4767) to be included in a prayer chain of prayer
warriors from Calvin.
Services may be seen on YouTube, on our website at, or by listening to a CD.
