This Week at Calvin

Calvin CRC invites all looking for a place and family to publicly worship God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10 AM. Our friend from Orange City, Mr. Dan Tracey, will lead us all in worship. Miriam Hector will play the prelude “Trusting Jesus Medley of “Trust and Obey” and ‘”’Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus” arranged by Marilyn Ham on the grand piano. Abigail Tilburg and Miriam will play the piano and organ to accompany the singing of “We Bow Down”, “Trust and Obey” “My Jesus I Love Thee”, and “In Christ Alone”. Dan Tracey’s message “Divine Fellowship” is based on 1 John 1: 1 – 4. Our service includes a time of confession, assurance of pardon and a time of prayer for our congregation, community and world. Following the worship service we have a time of fellowship.
Calvin Church has extended a call to Rev. Brian Hofman from Kanawha IA to be our next pastor. We will hear on Sunday his response to our call as we pray for him and our congregation.
There will be no communion this Sunday. You are encouraged to bring non-perishable items for the Christian Needs Center in Le Mars. June needs include chili beans, pork & beans, cream soups, granola bars, pasta sauce, and peanut butter.
The Special Offering is scheduled for the 20th has been designated for The Bible League. Tithes and offerings may be dropped off at the church Mondays through Fridays from 10 to noon. Or mailed to 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA.
