This Week at Calvin

Calvin Christian Reformed Church, located at 326 7th St SE, Le Mars, invites you to worship with them at 10:00 AM. This is the time that has been set aside for the public worship of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit! If you are visiting Calvin for the first time please make yourself at home. We've been praying for you, and hope you will experience the joy of God's life changing love.
This Sunday, September 6th, we invite Rev. Joel De Boer from Hull to lead worship. He has chosen 1 Peter 2: 9 - 12 and 1 John 2: 2- 20 for the text of his sermon "Living the Questionable Life - Be a Blessing."
He has asked us to respond in song with "Ten Thousand Reasons."
Inez Hoogeveen has graciously consented to provide the worship music this Sunday. She has chosen "When The Roll is Called Up Yonder" by Lori Line for her prelude. Inez will also accompany the hymns of "My Jesus I Love Thee", "Blessed Assurance", and "Spirit of the Living God". Following the Benediction all will sing "Go, My Children, with My Blessing" and Inez' postlude on "Only in Thee" arranged by Lori Line.
Sunday School for Adults begins next week Sunday, the 13th. We are also looking for someone who loves children and wants to share their love of Jesus with them for the young people. If you feel this nudge, please talk to someone on the council.
